tangerang city , – In an effort to continue to realize a comfortable, safe, and health-supporting learning environment for all students in Tangerang City. The Tangerang City Government (Pemkot), through the Education Office, held a Healthy School Socialization and Awarding of the First Generation of Mover Schools, which took place in the Al-Amanah Room, Tangerang City Government Center, Friday (13/09).
Acting Mayor of Tangerang, Dr. Nurdin, on that occasion stated that the socialization of healthy schools is part of the collective determination to make schools in Tangerang City a superior place to learn. He emphasized that this activity is a concrete step towards achieving schools that are not only comfortable but also at the forefront in the quality of education.
“The socialization of healthy schools is part of our determination to make schools in Tangerang City a comfortable place for our children to learn, as well as becoming superior schools among other schools,” said the Acting Mayor.
In the event, the Acting Mayor also gave awards to the principals whose schools have been successfully designated as “Moving Schools” for the 2021-2024 period. This award was given as a form of appreciation for their contribution in driving the progress of education in Tangerang City through the Moving School program.
“The awards given to these pioneering schools are a form of appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the school principals and their staff in implementing programs that have succeeded in encouraging positive transformation in the world of education,” said the former Head of the Ministry of Home Affairs’ Pusdatin.
Furthermore, Dr. Nurdin expressed his hope that all schools in Tangerang City can emulate the achievements of the driving schools in creating a healthy, superior, and competitive educational environment.
“This School Mover Program is one of our real efforts to achieve this goal,” he concluded.
For information, currently in Tangerang City there are 32 schools running the first stage of the driving school program. (bin)
